Sorry it’s been so long since I have chronicled my life. I was waiting for it to be funny.
Actually, I had 4 tests, a presentation, and 2 papers due in an 11-day span, and well, after that I needed a break.
My regular readers know that I have a propensity for lists. It’s mostly because I’m too lazy to actually write paragraphs—or it’s because my mother is a HUGE fan of lists. Huge. (Side note: had lunch with her recently, and true to form, we sit down and she pulls out 2 lists of things to talk to me about. She didn’t want to forget anything. No, I don’t make this stuff up.)
So, without further ado…here are the funny things that happened while I was on my blog break.
1. Half of my Chemistry class asked for my notes. Pause. Yeah, made me laugh too.
2. Almost got my lab partner to Karaoke after our entrance exam. Almost. She’s funny.
3. My study group has 4 people. Here are the names: Candace, Kamille, Kaylan, and Corrie. You try saying that 3 times in a row, quickly. See what happens. Funny, right?
4. Half of the study group loves Karaoke. I’m not in that half. But I have to go. They are making me.
5. Pharmacology lecture is still super stressful, but I got an “A” on the last test, so I must enjoy stress—either that or I have an extraordinarily easy to understand text book. (If gambling were legal, I’d pick the 2nd of those choices, and put money on it.)
And, finally, drumrolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll…
I got into the Accelerated Nursing Program! This will allow me to finish in May 2011. And, my entire study group got in also, so now we can confuse each other for another 1 ½ years. I guess it’s been a pretty productive couple of weeks.
Now, I have procrastinated long enough. Three chapters of Chemistry homework beckon.
