This is an actual assignment I just turned in for my Community College nutrition class. I've posted the assignment first.
Please post your three most valuable tips (MVTs) for weight loss, based on what you learned in Chapter 9. Then, respond to at least 2 of your classmates. Your comments can be about techniques you might have tried yourself or read about in a magazine. Please make your responses interesting. If I don't find them educational or, at the very least entertaining, you don't get the full points.
Tips for weight loss
1. Eat a small healthy snack (almonds, cheese stick, or apple) 30 min-1 hour before the meal so you don’t overeat.
2. Chew gum when hungry instead of finding the closest candy.
3. Stop making brownies all the time.
4. Be strict 6 days out of the week, and allow 1 splurge meal and/or brownie binge.
And, yes, I fully expect to get full credit for this assignment.
I know I promised a plethora of blog posts because I didn't know what to do with all my free time, but I found things to do and spent 3 days as a completely irresponsible college student. It was epic. I will post about it soon.
