Are Pigs Flying?

After one full week of classes, I have ascertained that this semester is going to be hard. I may sound like a broken record here, but remember how I said that the first 6 weeks of nursing school were “kick your butt difficult?” Imagine that, but a whole semester. To say I’m excited is a gross mischaracterization.

Now, about those pigs flying...

I was sitting in my Skills 2 class on Friday and the professor was giving an overview of drug calculations. There are three ways you can calculate drugs, and one of those ways is called dimensional analysis. To my complete and utter amazement that is exactly what the first nine chapters of Chemistry was about last semester! I’m sitting in class as this realization hit me. I never thought I would think this, let alone admit it, but I think I’m grateful for Chemistry.

So I ran outside to see if pigs were flying.
